ACADEMICS

The Pioneer School facilitates students achieving academic excellence in rigorous online core curriculum provided by Florida Virtual School with the support of experienced on-site tutors. Florida Virtual School has been in operation for over 20 years and is the leading online education model in the world.  Course content with FL Virtual is the same as would be offered in public middle school, preparing Pioneer students for academic excellence in our county high schools.  The Pioneer school supports the excellence of FLVS’s academic core classes and ensures students’ educational paths are tailored to meet their future goals.

Each afternoon, The Pioneer School teaches a variety of enrichment programs designed to foster the emotional intelligence, social conscience, intellectual courage and entrepreneurial spirit of its students.
